Privacy Policy
Effective October 3, 2026
1. Information You Provide
When you contact The Queens Web, submit an inquiry, request support, purchase a product or service, or otherwise communicate with us, you may provide information such as your name, email address, phone number, business or brand name, website URL, service of interest, project details, goals and requirements, project stage, desired timeline, planned investment or budget range, Website Care or Platform Care needs, referral source, and any additional information you choose to provide. You are not required to provide information unrelated to your request.
2. Purchase and Transaction Information
If you purchase a product or service, The Queens Web or its service providers may receive information associated with the transaction, such as your name, email address, the product or service purchased, order or invoice details, transaction status, and other information needed to process the purchase or maintain business records. Payment card or financial information may be processed directly by a third-party payment provider, whose privacy and security practices also apply.
3. Automatically Collected Information and Cookies
When you access the website, technical information may be processed automatically by the website or its infrastructure providers, such as IP address, browser type, device and operating system information, request date and time, pages or resources requested, security-related information, and technical logs used to operate, protect, or troubleshoot the site. This information may be used for website operation, performance, fraud prevention, security, and troubleshooting.
The website may use cookies or similar technologies necessary for functionality, security, authentication, or fraud prevention. If analytics, measurement, or other non-essential technologies are enabled, additional information about website activity may be collected through those services, and this policy may be updated if that use materially changes.
4. How Information Is Used
Information may be used to respond to inquiries, determine project fit, prepare scopes and quotes, communicate about requested services, provide support, process and fulfill purchases, manage client and business relationships, maintain transaction and business records, operate and secure the website, prevent fraud or abuse, improve functionality and service processes, and comply with legal, tax, accounting, or regulatory obligations. The Queens Web does not sell or rent personal information.
5. Client Projects and Client Systems
When providing website development, Website Care, Platform Care, technical assistance, migration services, content management configuration, hosting management, infrastructure management, or similar services, The Queens Web may receive authorized access to client-owned systems or information - including hosting and cloud accounts, domains, content management systems, databases, file and media storage, code repositories, administrative dashboards, forms, authentication systems, and other systems necessary to provide the contracted service.
Information accessed through a client's system is used only as reasonably necessary to provide the applicable contracted services and is not treated as The Queens Web's own marketing database. Clients remain responsible for establishing appropriate privacy notices, permissions, and practices for personal information they collect from their own customers, members, visitors, or users.
6. Client-Owned Accounts
Where appropriate, third-party accounts used for a client's website or digital platform may be established in the client's own name or otherwise remain under the client's control. The client may be responsible for maintaining those accounts, payment information, ownership, and authorized users. The Queens Web may be granted administrative or technical access where necessary to perform contracted services, and will remove its access as part of the applicable offboarding process when it is no longer required.
7. Service Providers
The Queens Web may use third-party service providers to operate the website, communicate with visitors and clients, process transactions, deliver projects, or provide technical services - including providers of web and cloud infrastructure, domains, databases and storage, content management, email, scheduling, forms, payment processing, analytics, media delivery, code repositories, and security. These providers may process information according to their own privacy policies and terms, and the specific technologies used may change as The Queens Web's services evolve.
8. When Information May Be Shared
The Queens Web may share information with service providers when necessary to operate the business or deliver services; when you request or authorize it; when reasonably necessary to complete a transaction or project; to investigate fraud, security incidents, misuse, or unlawful activity; when required by law or valid legal process; or when reasonably necessary to protect the rights, safety, property, or security of The Queens Web or others. The Queens Web does not sell personal information to third parties.
9. Data Retention
Information is retained only as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected and for legitimate business, accounting, tax, contractual, security, or legal requirements. Retention may differ depending on whether information relates to a general inquiry, a purchase, a prospective or active client, a completed project, technical support, or legally required records. When information is no longer reasonably needed, it may be deleted, anonymized, or securely disposed of where appropriate.
10. Data Security
The Queens Web uses reasonable administrative and technical measures intended to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration. No website, transmission method, storage system, or security measure can guarantee absolute security, and third-party platforms and infrastructure providers maintain their own security practices and responsibilities.
11. Third-Party Websites and Services
The website may link to or integrate with services operated by third parties. Once you interact directly with a third-party website or service, that provider's privacy policy and terms may apply. The Queens Web does not control the privacy practices of independent third parties.
12. Your Privacy Choices
You may contact The Queens Web to ask about personal information you have provided directly to us, or to request that it be corrected or deleted. Depending on where you live and the circumstances, applicable law may provide additional privacy rights. Some information may need to be retained for legitimate legal, contractual, tax, accounting, fraud-prevention, or recordkeeping purposes. Requests may be submitted to contact@thequeensweb.com.
13. Children's Privacy
The Queens Web website and services are not directed to children under 13, and The Queens Web does not knowingly solicit personal information from children under 13. If The Queens Web becomes aware that personal information has been collected directly from a child under 13 in circumstances where it should not have been, reasonable steps will be taken to delete it as appropriate.
14. Changes and Contact
This Privacy Policy may be updated as the website, services, technology, business practices, or legal obligations change, and the effective date at the top will indicate the most recent revision. Questions or requests concerning this policy may be submitted through the contact page or by email at contact@thequeensweb.com.
